RESEARCH INTEREST
Chiara Lambruschini’s research interests are in the organic synthesis field, both on methodological aspects and on
the preparation of small molecules with potential applications. In the last years, she has worked on the use of
multicomponent reactions for the efficient preparation of complex molecules starting from simple bio-based inputs
and the study of their biological activity, and on the preparation of organic molecules for the coating of metallic
nanoparticles. More recently, she has started to work on photochemistry and on the use of visible light to enable new
catalytic processes mediated by palladium.
